We offer a one-year high volume comprehensive hip and knee arthroplasty fellowship at a busy tertiary center. Our fellows can expect:
- Experience in every aspect of elective hip and knee reconstruction at a busy tertiary center that attracts a large volume of complex problems including failed joint replacement and severe bone loss.
- Exposure to a focused high volume (400-500 cases per fellow) of primary and revision arthroplasties at Vancouver General and University of British Columbia Hospitals.
- Opportunity to work with five high-volume and internationally recognized hip and knee arthroplasty specialists to gain essential arthroplasty clinical and operative skills, particularly in complex arthroplasty revisions.
- Exposure and mentorship to high impact research opportunities from supervisors with extensive international research experience and expertise in clinical epidemiology.
- Potential to complete a master’s in health science degree simultaneously. These requests are considered on an individual basis.
- Exposure to robotic as well as conventional knee replacement.
